Welcome to Cadeo. By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Using Cadeo

Cadeo provides a productivity application that unifies tasks, notes, calendar, and recording functionality across web, desktop, and iOS. You must be at least 13 years old to use Cadeo. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs under it. You may sign in using Google OAuth or email. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create in Cadeo, including tasks, notes, projects, recordings, and other data. By using Cadeo, you grant us permission to store, process, and sync your content as necessary to provide the service.

When you use AI-powered features, your content may be sent to third-party AI providers (currently Google Gemini) for processing. You can disable cloud AI processing in Settings and use local AI instead.

You agree not to use Cadeo to:

Workspaces and Collaboration

Cadeo allows you to create workspaces and invite team members. As a workspace owner, you are responsible for managing access and permissions. Content shared within a workspace is visible to all workspace members.

You may share individual projects and notes with specific users. Shared content remains under the original creator's ownership.

Subscriptions and Payments

Cadeo offers Free, Personal, and Pro subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe, who processes card details directly — Cadeo does not store payment card information.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep paid-plan access until then, and we do not issue pro-rated refunds for partial periods unless required by law.

We may change our pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

Recordings and Transcriptions

Cadeo allows you to record audio and generate AI-powered transcriptions. By using the recording feature, you agree to comply with all applicable laws regarding consent for recording conversations. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent from other participants before recording.

In-App Communications

We may send you in-app announcements about new features, scheduled maintenance, or important service updates. These are operational communications necessary for the provision of the service and cannot be opted out of, though you can dismiss them with a single tap.

Service Availability

We strive to keep Cadeo available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may occasionally need to perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will provide notice through in-app announcements when possible for planned maintenance.

Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

When you first use Cadeo's web or desktop app, you will be asked for consent to product analytics. Accepting lets us collect a small catalogue of usage events (listed in the Privacy Policy) to help improve the product. Declining means no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is captured. Your choice is remembered locally and can be reset by clearing site data.

Support Access

If you enable the "Support Access" toggle in Settings, you consent to our support team viewing your workspace data in read-only mode for troubleshooting purposes. This access is entirely voluntary and can be revoked at any time.

Intellectual Property

Cadeo and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Cadeo and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our name, logo, and product names are trademarks of Cadeo.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Cadeo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. AI-generated content (including transcriptions, summaries, and suggestions) may contain errors and should not be relied upon as the sole source of information.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cadeo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time using the account deletion feature in Settings, or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to other users or Cadeo.

Upon termination, your right to use Cadeo will immediately cease. You may export your data before terminating your account using the data export feature in Settings.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through in-app announcements or by email. Your continued use of Cadeo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
